Fat Loss Tips For Busy Individuals

As many of us know the pressures of everyday life are considerable, and there is often no let up. This can result to cutting down time on important things that keep you healthy like good food and exercise, and you can put on weight as a result.

It is important to remember that it becomes increasingly harder to get everything done to the best of your abilities if you lead an unhealthy lifestyle. Let’s take a look at what you can do to stay healthy, happy and productive:

1. Exercise

You don’t need to spend too much time in the gym! 15 to 20 minutes of HIIT (high intensity interval training) per day will do it. Work hard for a short space of time, this will help to build muscle, kick in the endorphins and burn fat. Interval training is the way to go for fat loss and time poor people. Or aim to do 150 minutes per week of moderate intensity exercise.

2. Diet

To stay healthy a good diet is crucial to your lifestyle. However, you may find that it is difficult to eat well, especially if you snack or don’t eat a proper breakfast. Make sure you have breakfast! Ditch the junk food and eat three meals plus two healthy snacks per day.

3. Food

Remove all the processed foods from your diet. Processed foods make you fat and sluggish. Eat fresh fruit and vegetables, lean protein fish, meat, eggs and nuts. Drink at least 2 litres of filtered water per day. People can lose weight just increasing their water. Reduce your tea and coffee to just 1-2 cups per day.

4. Attitude

Attitude plays an important role in fat loss, exercise and a healthy lifestyle. If you keep doing the same things you will get the same results. It takes 21 days (3 weeks) to change a habit and create a new one. A change of lifestyle requires effort and a positive attitude.

5. Forward Planning

This is the biggest and best tip. Improving your health and productivity requires forward planning. Invest 30 minutes per week into planning your food and your exercise. Meal prep and freeze if you can. Stick your plan on the fridge. Plan it, buy it, eat it… and be healthier as a result!
